axel nut no go, help!
guys and gals, I bought a dewalt impact wrench(189.99). The FN nut still wont budge. Anybody have any idea's on how to HELP the nut break loose. Maybe a chemical agent or something. thanks.
1. soak in pb blaster (better than wd40)
2. small torch, heat for 5 minutes
3. breaker bar with at least 3 foot cheater bar
4. repeat steps 1-3 as needed while cussing and flipping the nut off until it comes loose

have someone pushing the brake in your car-
and stand on the breaker bar-
jump up and down if you have to it should go-

(key- have a big friend standing on the breaker bar)

PB blaster is the shiznit!! usually the electric impact will get it but If u cant get it loose with a huge cheeter bar and somebody standing on the break pedal, there is always the option of using a dremel and cutting the nut off. I have even scored em and hit them with a chisile had it snap right off. depending on what rims u have, u could put the wheel back on and get more torque on the nut. Just trying to help man, Just hope the axle splines are rusted in the hub like one of my buddies integra's was. took like 3 hours, can of PB, torch, 10lb sledge, big punch, lots of cussing and beer, beer helped

Here are a couple of ways, and at the bottom is how I do it and did it today.

Do what I did.
I went to a local Steel mill and got a pipe
2.5" Inner Diameter, 3" Outer diameter.
Sucker is 1/4" thick
It's 4ft long, weighs a good 50lbs, and cost me $47.
Best $50 I EVER spent.
Don't waste your money on sissy bars, I went through 3 crappy ones before I sucked it up and got a real one.

well, got that Fker off. I cant take credit for how I did it. I drove around the hood for bought 20 minutes on the brakes hard, I pull up in drive, bust out 32 mil, and the nut came off like nothing. heat from the brakes is what got it off. thanks for the help, time to go to work
