ECU and Interior Questions for 99 GSR
I bought a stripped 99 green GSR. Its got tan interior and several stripped parts. The ECU is one of the missing pieces. Will all OBD2 GSR ECU's pop right in? Or do i have to get the exact year for the motor? If not which year ECU's are ok to put in all 96+ and up?
Are all tan leather seats the same color for all year inegras? Or do they vary color depending on the year? Ive seen some pictures where some look real dark and others are really light brown. It could be the camera to so i just wanted to ask before i buy some.
Any help would be appreciated
thanks

any 96-99 obd2a p72 (gsr) ecu will work for you...don't get a '00/'01 ecu though....you'd also be able to run a obd1 p72 via a conversion harness...but that would be a more expensive option since obd1 p72's can cost twice as much as obd2 p72's.
If you need one, I have a 1999 obd2 p72 for sale...just click the link in my sig or pm me, and I can have it shipped out to you
as for the tan leather seats, if there's a difference, it would be minimal, and either way would probably match up well with your interior.

if you get a 99 up p72 ecu it has the immobilizer... and you will have to get your key programmed in sync with the ECU for it to start.... cuz its OBD2b

I have a 1999 obd2 p72 and it does not have the immobilizer cause I've used it on my 97 Integra.
why do people post what they don't know
