Please settle a dispute. Integra LS question.
Ok, so im aguing w/ my buddy and we decided to let you guys settle it. I own a 95 Integra ls automatic. Two years ago I blew my engine and decided I wanted to do a GSR VTEC/Manual swap. So thats what I did it took me two days a little blood Alot of sweat NO tears (thumping my chest) and I consider it a hybrid, BUT my friend says that cause I changed the Cluster, Center console and Interior wiring harness that its not a hybrid that it might as well have rolled off the line a GSR. But al those things are needed to make evrything work right. I also just recently swaped to a JDM 98 spec 5-lug suspention. Am I hybrid or not... Sorry to post such a considerably trivial post but theres money involved. Thanx!

Man, this retarded...
You went from a stock motor to a DIFFERENT motor. That makes it a hybrid.
Tell you're friend to **** off and die before he ever thinks or speaks again... or even worse, ever reproduces.

when you look at the categories on HT the description for the hybrid forum is "Engine and Suspension Swaps Between Series " that was a direct copy and paste.
in your case you could say it is, (ls to gsr) becasue the engine and tranny you replaced your old ones with are not the same. if i remember the suspension on a DC4 (your car) differs from the suspension on a DC2. so that is a big difference from "it being considered a GSR off the production line".
who really cares if it is or is not? its your car, your happy with it, end of story.
tell your friend to quit being a duchebag and to get his head out of his *** for arguing about **** that is not worth getting into a argument about.
just my .02
