take out your motor... because its going to be a bitch for some parts...

take out all the tranny bolts to the motor

make sure all the wiring is disconnected from the motor to the tranny
they should all just pop off at the connections very simple...

double check all the time to make sure all the bolts are out

and the protective plate is off on the bottom that protects the flywheel/clutch

use a sledge and a flat head screw driver and wedge the motor apart evenly on all sides

good luck it takes some energy I just finished doing this...

please do not take a sledge hammer and a screwdriver to your engine block and tranny, simply take your arms, wrap them around the tranny and jiggle it back and forth while pulling out at the same time. It will come off, and you won't harm your engine block or tranny, also, you don't have to pull the whole engine out, you can rest the engine on a jack take the axles out and remove the tranny with ease.

^agreed, I dont know why everyone says take the tranny out? Ive had mine out quite a few times(was sent the wrong clutch twice) never had to take the motor out. And jiggling worked for me. Last time i did the clutch it took me about 3 hours total. That was also including time wasted waiting on flywheel to be resufaced.

omg its obvious that your not going to hurt anything as long as you gentle wedge the flat head in between and tap it in "just tap it in" "tappy tappy tap tap" your not going to do anything bad but help urself it'll wedge it apart enought to start pulling with ur friends not a bad thing good as long as you know what ur doing!

this shows how to do the whole thing w/ pics.. the only difference is this tranny is hydro and you have a cable.. the cable is really easy to undo.. if u can't figure out how to undo the cable you shouldn't be pulling your tranny
