Factory alarm issue

Factory alarm issue
This morning when I used the keyless entry, the alarm wasn't working(i.e. No beep beep and no signal lighs flashing) . However it opens and locks.
I` m not too good with electrical troubleshooting, any suggestions as to where I sould start the checking process?

the siren works, I checked it.
What else could it be ? Lights aren't flashing either.
Not that it helps keep the thiefs away but don't like this state of malfunction either.

i have kinda the same problem. My lights work but the horn wont beep but i checked the alarm and it still works. When i got the car, it came with two remotes and when i used one, the horn would beep and the other one, it wouldnt. Now neither makes the horn beep. Wondering if its kinda an idiot proofing to let you know when the battery is going dead in the remote?
