have as little gas in it as possible.

have a jack handy to lower/raise it instead of using your forehead

deep socket (11mm i think) and a drill to unscrew the nuts that hold the two straps up.

yeah all the bolts are 10's....just did it. its not too bad just don't lose the washers on the banjo bolt going into the fuel pump

A stock exhaust manifold shroud bolt with .5mm of rust.

yeah but then the 11 will jist strip. normally with rust you go down a size and hit a junk socket on with a hammer. works everytime.

As for the gas tank all great tip amd be patient, you dont want to break any of the numerous hoses.

fine...i got one wrong. I thought it was a 10m the whole time, but my roommate (Rice_Classic) just changed his tank and asked me for an 11m while he was under the car.....to undo those nutz.

Should have gone with what I know.....

how much does the stock tank weigh? Just a rough guesstimate. I've been debating a fuel cell and how much weight savings i'd have from it.

You won't be saving much if any weight from going to a fuel cell.
