MSD ignition?

hello, my brother has a JDM civic 1.6 doch vtec, he is wondering if the MSD ignition would do him any good??
will it make the car faster???

Not worth it. You'll get better spark, but not a big gain.

If he is planning on running a lot of boost or high compression then it would be a wise investment. For just bolt ons and such it will not do that much.
