Exhaust piping + size
I have a d15b7 engine. I'd like to turbo it in less than a year (maybe sooner if I get the cash).
The exhaust piping has bent and is causing noises. I'd like to upgrade to a higher gauge piping. Right now I got the stock 1.75" (I think). I'm trying to decide whether to put 2.25" or 2.5" catback piping along with a magnaflow muffler. Right now the car is stock. No mods whatsoever. I'm planning on putting turbo though and I don't want to change pipes twice. So what's the best piping size to put without losing too much power and sounding like crap while I'm on stock setup.

Yes, you can have it on. You might lose a little low end, that's about it.
If you're going to turbo your D-series, I'd say don't go with something too large. That is, if you're going to be boosting at stock levels. Assuming that, I wouldn't go larger than a 2.5. A 2.36 setup (60mm) is also sufficient, I think. Apexi exhausts are 60mm, and I believe so are Greddy.
You want to have good flow (diameter won't matter TOO much in stock psi levels). Have good flow and a straight through canister to maximize power.

Will 2" be okay for up to 200hp on a d15b7?
How about 2" on up to 250hp on a d16z6?
Reason I'm asking is I'm planning on a swap once I ruin the b7 and I don't want to change exhausts until at least I hit 250+hp
