One coil sitting higher than the other?
I altered my suspension for the first time in a good while just a few days ago. I'm dropped on a set of Tein coilovers, and my uncle did the install just over a year ago.
When I jacked up the front, and took off the front wheels, it appears that the driver side coilover sits differently than the passenger side.
Right now, with the driver side, I have two notches left on the coilover, and I have at least three times as many notches left on the passenger side. But yet, the car is even on both sides. 1 1/2 finger gap in the front.
Does this sound normal to you guys, or should I bring this across my uncle?

Have you thought about the fact that one side of your car probably weighs more than the other, and that the uneven coil height actually makes the ride height even?

this happened to me when i put my jic flt-a2s on. if you have a full coilover set-up your uncle might have put the coilovers on and noticed that the car didn't sit evenly and tightened the collar and compressed the spring to fix the height. If this is true, you should be able to make the spring longer by turning the collar (at least to where it is the same length as the other side) and then spin the actual threaded part for the collars around and lower that side that way. To make sure that both sides are even...either count the threads on the lower perch or use measuring tape. i hope this helps a little bit.
