b18a1 obd0 or obd1??

Default b18a1 obd0 or obd1??

i just picked up a b18a1 for 90 bucks out of the back of some guys civic...and i dont know how to tell if it is a 90-91 or a 92-93 ...all it is is block and head nothin else.how can i tell what obd it is?

look on the front of the head for 3 stamps(i think three) the first on the left will be your year....if it says 9/0 the its a 91 engine, 9/1 the its a 92 engine...and so on.

it says 9/1 but why does that mean 92 wouldnt 9/1 mean 91 or is it a 92 for sure?

Yes it's like this...
However that doesn't mean that you are limited to obd0 electrical..depending on the wiring of the car it is going into...

well yea i was just reffering the engine year...you can change any engines obd.
