Just a little fyi to help your setup look cleaner; the VAFC2 fits perfectly into the removed ashtray space. Just remove the AFC stand thing (says apexi on it) and give it a gentle push. It fits like it was made for it

Buy this as a kit? It just doesn't look like it would cost $4200... The charge piping diameter, and the intake is made with what looks to be flexible fuel filler or radiator hose... Do you have an FMU?

Damn 4200 sounds cheap to me. I've been quoted 8k but thatis with brand new everything along with hondata, rad, fans fuel rail injectors, the works.

That looks like the Turbo Specialties kit. What spec turbo did you get? 4G's is kinda expensive for that kit. I paid less than 1200 for the TSI kit ( wish i pieced my own kit together.. but that was long time ago). anyways, enjoy the boost, makes the accord feel like a totally different monster. It's like night and day.

it that a turbonetics kit? Also did you include vafc tuning in the cost?
i didn't realize it but i might acually have enough money for a kit and install at the rate im goin now

edit: never mind i saw that it was a garrett kit

props but damn.. 4200 and not even an externally gated setup or 'real' engine management..

if your running an afc why not just run the afc hack, even though it sucks it cant be worst than the fmu..

not to mention internal wastegate and the most unequal length cast manifold ive ever seen....

i mean, if you've got the money, its fine -i think the OP knows you can boost for much cheaper, but if you have the money, pre-made kits do make things easier

BUMP!
hehe yeah i know it did cost alot but i had the money it was basicly free moneyto me.I am running the VAFC due to the Fuel injector controller did not work right.Yes it is a TSI kit, the BOV which loooks cheap as **** is loud as **** i live it,will upgrade to greddy of HKS soon. The 4200 is including the VAFC tune and everything like that, i do need to upgrade the Fuel rail, pressure regulator and some 450cc injectors.Anyone have some for sale? I do have some parts left over if anyone needs and OBC Ceramic header,OBX intake with OBX Carbon fiber filter, along with 96-97 accord factory fog lams, yellow.I al also getting ready to go to the muffler ship and replace that ugly black pipe with nice bent pipe and ****.Ill post another picture later once it is really done.I did have some problems with the Vtec kicking in at 2500 RPM and the turbo spooling at the same time aswell.Pretty ******* nice monster.I appriciate all your guys input and maybe next time ill build my own.Just to much work and it is to damn hot.
