Mike

I wouldn't say that is entirely true. I am not sure about the Exedy stuff but I had a Tilton twin for my cable trans.

Just buy the clutch for a 90-93 Integra. All the small spline cable trans are the same. In my experience though the cable trannies don't take good to the twin disks engagement. Once power is put to them they tend to act up and eat up syncros and gears. Combine that with the harsh twin disk engagement and you have a time bomb. I switched to a hydro setup and would never look back. Good luck in whatever you choose.

The Exedy Small shaft was supposed to come out, not sure if it ever did. I switched over toa YS1 trans so I could run the clutch. Clutch masters or competition both have them available for the Y1.

first off 90-91 trannies are small spline and 92-93 trannys have a big spline. the syncros and gears are not made from different materials from cable to hydro stuff so if your burning that stuff up you have a clutch engagement problem.

I called Matt at Daiken Clutch and he answered all my questions regarding this same topic. The part # that I was given was HM042SR. The Hydro kit is a HM022SR.
From what I gathered the pressure plate and flywheel are the same between the two kits so if you decide to buy a Hydron tranny you can purchase a Hydro Disc setup part# DM22RA and DM22RB.
Give Matt and call and confirm all this to be sure Phone: (800) 346-6091

Whoops, my bad, I meant 90-91. I have since switched to the larger 93+ spline myself.
It isn't so much that I was burning them up but tearing them up. I am not the only one that had this problem with the Tilton twin and the small spline cable trans. It must be something to do with the synchros not being able to stop the momentum of the disks quick nough in time to shift. Since switching to the larger spkine setup there have been no issues. I am by no means a tranny guru but this is just what I seemed to notice.

Thanks g2turbo!! I called Daiken and they verified what you had said. It is the HM042SR... I ordered my clutch already, among other things!
Thanks for everyone's input
