Who made the oem 96-00 d series clutches?

Replaced some bearings in my tranny yesterday and checked out my clutch. It had "Daikin" engraved into it. Just wondering if this was an oem clutch or the previous owner replaced it. Also wondering if it's a good clutch? Thanks

Daikin clutch is a manufacturer that makes pressure plates and clutches in general for many "big names" out there...

Exedy, Borg&Beck, Sachs... all DAIKIN
