RLZ Engineering track testing/EG Hatch B16A 519whp Pump Gas 1/8 mile times 6.61@111mph
Brad from RLZ Engineering called me up to let me know how they are doing at the track. Last year they ran this hatchback in Comp4, this year it is running in Turbo 4. They put a B16A in it with a T4/60-1 turbo made 519whp on Pump Gas. They are at a local 1/8 mile track down in NC, they went first pass 6.9x@108mph then just now they ran 6.61@111mph with a 1.58 60' time. The car should improve and should run some very low 10's like that. Run race gas and turn the boost up and I am sure they can run 9's. Howard "Airshifter" Shoaf driving the car. So congrats to Howard, Brad Z and Roger Shoaf!!
congrats - car is coming along nicely - can't wait to see it in person

that is what you can expect with the racers at the top of the class - we pull anywhere from 1.58 - 1.62 60' times on most passes on either the 26" or 24.5" - there are a couple of racers in the class on the east coast that pull low 1.5s consistently

I ran 10.02 @ 146 on pump gas in testing last weekend (does C16 out of a pump at atco count?) JK

i should change my statement on the 60' times...except for ballard who couldn't 60' his car if he had 28x11.5w's and and he staged with the rear tires
