Default gc question to those who have installed.

how many threads from the bottom of the sleeve do you have the perch? on the front and rear if you can share that information. thanks. it's for a 92 hatchback.

it's a bit easier to just measure the distance from the bottom of the collar to the bottom of the perch with a tape measure. or measure the distance from the jacking points to the ground, if on a level surface.

i understand that, but what i'm saying is there something like this:

1 thread from bottom = slammed are you stupid, not driveable
2 threads from bottom = still stupid
8 threads from bottom = 2 inches
9 threads etc.
the same for the front and rear.
that is the type of information i'm looking for. if there is anyone who has had there wheels off can you count the threads from the bottom and maybe post pics of the stance and/or fender gap on a hatchback. i think maybe this will help others and save some work for people. thanks alot.

15 threads from the bottom for me is like a Sport drop for my car. 10 threads from the bottom is more of a Race drop. I'm currently on the last thread

i have a gc/koni/gc top hat upper mount suspension and im 18 threads from the bottom and trust me im looowwww... thats the beauty of top mounts cause it extends your shock travel for a better ride... top hats basically in essence allows you to extend the shock bolt on point about 1-1.5'' above the frame its a beautiful thing. the whole set-up cost me a grand but trust me it was well worth it... id do it again
