i have a 91 crx and my fan is also on all the time. its not that big of a deal so i really didnt worry about it. what it is is that the fan is wired straight to one of the fuse boxs. hey if you think about it it will keep your motor cooler. the dash lights are most likley out but if you want i have 90-91 si gauge cluster if you want it, it has a tack, but the tach for some reasone went out and i will GIVE it to you if you pay shipping on it. if you want pm me for more info.

Mine was always on too. I didn't think much of it, that is until the fan's bearing started to make a terrible-loud noise. Fact is the fan should only be on when the car is running hotter than normal, not all the time. You'll go thru fans a lot quicker if you leave them hardwired on. I have since installed a toggle switch and found that the fan isn't even needed most of the time, unless I'm in a drive thru at a fast food place and it's idling for a long time. Switching it also keeps that load off of the electrical system.
