If the car does not have power locks, If you don't hook them up, you simply don't have the feature. You can add power locks if you want by buying the actuator that unlocks the door on ebay for around $25.

Again, same thing, if you don't want the remote start, don't hook it up, if you want it, then I can't answer that question (teken or others will hopefully help you out)

The only thing I'm guessing you want was a simple alarm, so hook up the alarms power and ground correctly, The shocksensor, the door, trunk and hood (if applicable) switches to the alarm as usual and you can leave the extra stuff (power locks + remote start) unhooked and it won't harm the alarm.

Hope this is what you wanted in a reply, it's difficult for us/me to tell without getting more specific about your wants.

yes i do need the remote starter...

for the alarm, it doesnt have wires for doors... what i am saying is that it won't turn on the alarm even though the doors are open
BUT there are wires for the locks, which i think it will turn on the alarm when the door is open... i will try to hook up those wires to the ceiling lights tomorrow.. i hope it works.. or else, i will need to buy power locks
are those power locks easy to install??

anyways, other help would be helpuful

i think you have the power door lock and the door open/close sensor mixed up.

The door open close is a wire that sends a signal to power door locks, since you dont have them, don't need them.

Theres another wire (part of the door series) that should connect to your dome output so that the alarm will go off if the doors are opened. It'll be door trigger, and in the book marked as an input to the alarm.

do not hook up your door lock wires to your dome light, it will most likely cause you to blow a fuse or your alarm's doorlock output.

This should fix your problems

so there should still be some wires connecting the locks or the trigger even though there is no power locks???

i will check that out tomorrow.. if there is no wires, i will probably wait for the power locks, i have ordered them on ebay, it's cheap.. way cheaper than http://www.autoloc.com............... are those power locks reliable?? and easy to install??

thanks for the input

Judging by your questions you might want to have this installed by someone else.
We can only help you so much and if you don't have any experience doing this than you might want to have someone else do it. Unless you are trying to learn and don't care if you screw something up, or blow something. Good luck, I think the door lock actuators might be alittle beyond your skill level. Try to find someone around your area that might be able to help you. The best way to learn is by someone that has already made the mistakes.
