ok im a new driver and everything i just wanna kno if its illegal in CA to not have ur license plate in da front. i have my front one by my window. if it is illegal wut size screws do i need to put it in the front? thanks for ur time thanks in advance guys.

Illegal yes... Having it in the window's no good. But its a fix it ticket with a $10 fine so it's no big deal to have no front plate. They're probably 6mm screws that hold it on in front

 

It would be awesome if you shouldnt have to put it to front. It messes so much of cars fronts.

 

ya I got a ticket for it in NV and if that illegal here then its definitly there

 

My front plate has been in the pocket on the back of my seat for 2 or 3 years now

outta of the 5 cars iv had and the 5 years ive been driving i have never had a front plate on my car
hell my car now has no stciekrs or plates and i drive it everyday
