Default ef designation

What are the differences between ef-1 ef-2 and so on? What would the US STD/DX's closest EF number? Weren't they all SH3s in the US?

Default Re: ef designation (johnclaunch)

Im no expert, but i think it goes a lil something like this...

EF1=cheapest hatches/4 doors (i think mostly or all carbed)
EF2/EF3=higher trimmed hatches/4 doors
EF4/EF5?
EF6=cheaper CRX (often carbed)
EF7=ZC CRX
EF8=CRX SiR
EF9=Civic SiR

So i think the jdm equivalent of an STD/DX would be EF1.

SH3 is more of a parts thing. Like SH2=CRX, SH3=hatch, SH4=4 door, SH5=wagon, ect.
