Default Two Wrecks equal a right? 56K milk a herd of cows.

My cousin got into an accident with his CRX about a month ago (as it sits now)

He is slowly going to repaint it and fix everything. So today he gets a call, my buddies dad owns a HUGE scrap yard, and he said when he gets a CRX in, he will save it for my cousin, because he needed a new door.

Well when he called, he tells us that he has a door for us to come down and get it...and when we get there, he is like we also just got this in, take whatever you want off of it...

( i realized i had my camera with me after we took the doors, fenders and headlights out already)

We think it was an 88-89 Si. But it had drum rear brakes... and the si symbol was a sticker, not a emblem. Did they come with 4 wheel disc in 88-89?

Anyways. The car was mint! The we took the entire doors right off, the outside had no dents or anything thing wrong, and the inside was in PERFECT CONDITION!! It had two BRAND NEW fenders on it

It also had a BRAND NEW single core radiator and some used tokico blue struts with some unknown springs...

All the interior was basically mint too. I took the center console and a couple other goodies, but we didn't take any of the rear or such, because we had no use or room for it.

It did have these really werid SI seats. I'm like watch us not take these and they be super rare JDM or something. They even had lumbar support.

Then we took some funny shots. And hit some of the windows and 1/4 panels with a hammer.

Packed it all in the 4-runner and left for home with a bunch of goodies.

Today was a good day , well for my cousin, saved his *** tons of money, and o ya. It was all free

the car was getting scrapped right after we left. its probably a cube now

as for the seats, one smelled like a dead person, the other looked like a dead person died in it.

ya. the rear panels, dash cluster, and the shell was basically all we left. But like i said it was getting smashed up anyways, and we couldnt fit it...

We thought the seats were teg seats, but the rails werent all ghetto or anything. so we kinda got confused.

Gator is right, they had the sticker in 88, and 88-89 has no rear disc

Since you don't seem to be too interested, are any of those other parts for sale?

Your brothers crx is dope.....but you judgement on what to strip is questionable. You guys totally could have taken wayyyyyy more **** posted it on honda-tech and busted a first come first serve...we pay shipping.

Do you think that there is any way that you could call your uncle or whatever and see if the rex has been crushed....if not i would take all of the interior and the tail lights and the glass from the driver side corner.....i will pay shipping....and i will pay for your work in getting those parts.

Anyway....glad to see that you got all the parts you needed....good luck on fixing your bros rex...
peace...and for real about those parts.

Edit: forget it....i just saw that the poor thing was getting scrapped as you left.
