Am I expecting to much out of my H22A. I have a Del sol with a 1994 JDM H22A. with a Replica J's racing intake, 2.5 inch piping with a highflow cat to an es oval exhaust, 10.2 mm sparkplug wires, new iridium sparkplugs, and a fresh oil change. The stock Jdm h22 is about 200hp, so if i were to say my h22 has about 220hp (obviously not to the wheels), Would that be to high??

 

A few baseline runs on a dyno without tuning can usually be had under $100, especially if you find a dyno day at a shop in your area. Put it on a dyno.

 

I would guess closer to 210, if that.

i think you would make about 5-7 horses with those mods. Certainly not 220, but a bit more work and you would be there.

get a good header and you might get close (good header meaning smsp, anr, etc)
