What mont kit gives the most ground clearance?
I just sold my 89 CRX Si w/B16a swap and I'm ready to do it again!I had the HCP mounts(4) and they were great(might get them again!),but I would like to have my oil pan just a little higher off the ground,if I can,and it doesn't matter to me if I need a SiR style hood to clear the B18c1s valve cover-just gives me an excuse to get a carbon hood! The new Hasport billet aluminum mounts sure look good, and their website says they have repositioned the motor by raising the rear mount, tilting the motor away from the firewall.I'm not really considering Place-I've heard some bad things about a few of their products, but you guys may know something different.Any opinions?BTW-Seen those knock-offs of the new Hasports by AZ Fab?They look good, too, and they're cheaper.Hmmm...........

Yeah, like I said -the HCP mounts in my last car were great, but if the new Hasport mounts will raise my engine I will buy their polished goodness!BTW-I know I misspelled mount in the title-guess I'm an idiot but it won't let me edit the title.....

I don't like how my B17 hangs really low with the HCP mounts...sits lower than the front x-member. My car is already lowered about 2" with RS-R Down springs. Then again i'm rolling with 13's on my car.
My B16a oil pan also hung below my front crossmember w/the HCP mts,but I don't remember how much-maybe an inch or two. That's a good point of reference,Mista B-one seven-anybody out there know how low there oil pan hangs below the fr.crossmember with say,the new Hasport mts.-or any others-and what motors you have-Thanks.
