i have a 92 civic si and i just dropped a 95 b18c1 motor in it. what are these extra wires for? one wire is red with gray spots and the other is yellow with a black line. thanks.

which harness are you using?

 

Nah, he just suxor at teh intarweb

Anyway, it's a little tough to tell... I was thinking it had to to with the air temp or pressure sensors, but it looks a little too far away. And I have no idea why it would have been spliced with those cheesy connectors.

 

If you can't find out by tomorrow afternoon I'll find out for you.

 

Intake sensor??

 

Intake air temp or possible for one of your radiator/ac fans..

 

was it an automatic wire harness? could be for countershaft or mainshaft speed sensors?????
