Default Re: installing ac into eg??? (92b16si)

I just done this this week. it was so easy. Just take the glove box out and take the screws out of the piece where the ac is suspose to go (i dont know what it is called) you will have to unplug some wires there to get them out of the way bolt in the ac unit. be sure and put the drain hose on. put glove box back in and hook back up the wiring you unplugged. then pull the non ac button on your climate control off (just pops off) and push in the ac button from the donor system. Your done inside the car. Under the hood take out the battery and tray and the radiator. Install the AC wiring harness there is a plug behind your air filter. It should have a white block off plug in it, take it out then plug in the ac harness. Install all the lines and the dryer like stock, all the holes shoul be there. Install the ac compressor to the ac bracket with the belt (eg with b-series use 1995 delsol VTEC ac bracket) drop in the condensor hook up all the wiring for the relays and fan and compressor from you ac harness. Hook up all the ac lines. use new o-rings for all the connections (they are like $8 a set from honda you will need 2 sets) then take it to get it vacc. tested and recharged with r134a and you are done It took me about 5 hours to do it but it was easy.
