how to tell 88 from 89-91
ok so i found a guy locally selling his wire harness and hes not sure if it is from an 88 or 89...i know that there is a way to visibly tell one from another...one has 6 of something while the other one has eight ...where do i look...i wanna get this car running and all i need are all these various harness'...thanks

The plug on the drivers side shock tower has a square connector (six pin) on an 88 harness and a round connector (eight pin) on an 89-91 version.

well you need to get the 90-91 plugs...and re-pin everything..
and extra wire your going to need to relocate the hazard and the defrost buttons...
if your new at wiring I would not attempt this...
