FS: 97 Hydro LS (b18b) Tranny, gsr 5th, quaife LSD
Here's the deal. I need a tighter tranny. as it sits now on 225/50-15's my top speeds in 3rd, 4th, and 5th would be 118, 155, 191... so i'm looking for an ITR or B16 tranny as a possible trade, if the situation is right. Otherwise I'm willing to sell the tranny str8 up.
97 LS tranny legit w/ papers, prolly around 70k miles give or take 5k.
Input shaft bearing replaced 3k miles ago.
GSR 5th gear swap. Still using the LS 4.26 final drive.
Quaife LSD with ITR flat bearings (not the roller bearing type)
Honda MTF used, changed every 3 months.
No grinds, etc. As far as i could tell from driving and when we did the LSD and 5th gear swap, the tranny and synchs looked mint.
make offers, i'd like to realistically trade but i'm willing to listen to offers. prolly wont sell, but figured i'd toss it up just in case

Above 9000....Friends' 550 hp ITR only does 175 with a similar tranny. The gearing from the b16/itr will create so much wheels spin, so I hope you have some sort of traction devices.
Why don't you just swap out the final drive? I have a b16 4.4 you could try. IF thats not enough try an ATS 4.6

I bought my hatch with a b16 tranny my ls turbo setup is just too much rev for it im not liking it at the moment. Up for a trade? Used sycromesh all its life no grainds good stuff pm me. im located in lincoln Ne.

well i was going to drive it first and really see how BAD it really is, but 155 in 4th is pretty darn long lol.. then again i'll get there pretty quick. (the car is gonna be on the road in about a week or 2 so i was playing w/ a gear/speed calculator)
