I just put in a y1 cable tranny and it dosen't seem much different from my a1 ls tranny. At 70 mph its at 4k rpm, I thought it was suposed to be closer to 5k... Are all y1 trans from b16s?

 

Its from the 90-91 crx/civic sir models. With B16, little better gearing for hiway than the S1 tranny that came with the integra.

 

the y1 tranny should make a huge difference compared to ur ls tranny...even though it has the tamest gear ratios out of the cable b16 trannies...it still is geared a lot more aggresively than the ls...just hope someone didnt fool u into buying another ls tranny...4450 rpm at 80 mph in my old y1
