2001 naturally are probably the best year for all-around - as it was the last model USDM year - so the kinks were worked out. Overall - all of the years are generally good.

It depends on what colors you like. If you want the old silver, green, and red, go with 1998. Really, any model is fine -- get what fits your budget. Just make sure to avoid SS.

Very much so actually!
I don't see how any year would be any better than another within the same generation, especially since no new models were introduced from the start of the generation - unlike the 4th gen, where you can't get a stock USDM '92 vtec - just for example.

Well, the 2002 RSX isn't as good as 03 forward b/c there were some design issues that were addressed after the release of the 02. So, that's just one example.....

When did they stop making them in general? I mean such as in Japan. And something off topic concerning Preludes to S2000s. Anyone seem to notice the same simularities in displacement with those two?

Yes, they are very similar, in that the last model year S2000 had a 2.2L displacement and the Prelude VTec has 2.2L of displacement as well. The previous model years S2000 were also similar, but had 0.2L less displacement making them 2.0L engines. There are other similarities as well (both being Honda engines, having Vtec, being 4-cyl, etc.) but none others involving displacement.

The best years would be 97-01 5spd

They stopped making them because the platform was old and they weren't selling anyway, they never really did.
99+ is better from an engine design perspective. 55mm mains good times.

That 5hp is bullshit, and the honeycomb grill can be had for $50. Get one with low miles a 5spd in the price range you can afford. Thats the best year prelude, the one you can afford.
