my boss is telling me that unless i put 80hp in the car i don't need it i'm thinking maybe sell it unless one of you have had good xperience with one it would be a hassle to sell it an buy an act witch we all know is the ****.

Well - if you WANT it to be a daily driver...sure go for it.

I think it may be too extreme - assuming you just have i/h/e........

you can put a stage 3 clutch and use it for a daily driver no problem the only thing is that it might be really tight when pushing down the clutch. and those things grab like a mother! my friend has stage 3 cluthc in his h22a swap and it seems to be find for a daily driver. his motor is also stock by the way and it works fine.

The stiffness of the clutch pedal is directly related to the pressure plate, not the type of clutch.

6 puck unsprung clutches have alot of chatter and get VERY annoying to daily drive. I have one for over a year now. Just about every time i drive my car i want to rip my transmission out and replace it with the OEM unit. I think an OEM replacement would be best for you unless you are going with some 300-600 hp monster race car.

A clutch like that is completely unnecessary for you it seems.

agreed. i had a stage 3 in mine for about 5 months, it was difficult for a daily driver, but it is do-able. traffic isn't your friend. i played soccer my whole life, and it was still hard for me to keep the clutch pedal pressed for more than 10 seconds. my leg would get tired, but it is do-able. just depends.

Lot of people seem to like the Exedy OEM and Stage I and Stage II clutches. Good bang for buck too.

i have an xtd stg 3 in my car right now. no problem at all. i would actually like it to be a bit more grabby. it's a daily driver and it's 100% fine driveability wise. at first it was very weird. drives like stock now but just doesn't slip when you bang gears. i wouldn't want anything less of a clutch. good investment.
