Okay, 92-95 appear to be the same part numbers
but from 96-98 the exhaust manifold on a y8 is cast, and in 99-00 it is mild steel tubing for the exhaust manifold?

I'm wondering if the exhaust collector from the 96-98 manifold is the same as the collector on the 99-00 manifold.

the 96-98 is part number 19860, and 99-00 is 19861, but could this be that its slightly different? or does any deviation in the numbers mean the manifold is completely different?

Im interested in this too. Mild steel tubing woudl be a heck of alot better than the cast POS thats on my 98. I had to have it welded, its holding up but in the event it develops a new crack it would be nice to use a 99-00 one.

 

anybody else know if the 2 exhaust collectors are different, or are the same? I think the 99-00 has longer secondaries than the 96-98 unit. But I need pics to see.
