I have a wrecked 4th gen Prelude VTEC in my driveway right now. It drives okay, but it looks like crap. Anyways, I used the insurance money and bought a 99 SH.

I have a lot of money invested into the 4th generation, including some TEIN SS coilovers. Anybody know for sure if they fit into the 5th gen without a big problem? Tein's website says it's the same part...but does anybody know from experience?

I'd hate to find out the hard way that they don't fit.

 

they should fit because 1) same part # and 2) all other companies that make springs say for 92+ preludes

 

they fit base model 5th gen preludes for sure, not sure about the sh....

 

I didn't realise there was a difference in the suspensions between the Type SH and the regular Prelude.

Either way, the website doesn't say anything about it. I think I'm gonna call them and see what they say.

 

The coilover will fit on the SH or base. Yes the OEM srpings and shocks are different on the SH and base but the differences get thrown out the window when you're putting on a complete aftermarket set.
