anyone with a 1.3/1.1 drop on a 96-98 civic??
^^^anyone with a 1.3/1.1 drop on a 96-98 civic?? will the gap still look big?? thinking of gettin some tein h-techs with that kind of drop...and im worrying if the gap still looks big because that looks like a small drop compared to people with 2 inch drops...i dont wanna drop my car more than 1.5 inches for i have 17x7.5 wide rims, and rubbing might occur...but also dont want a car that looks like a monster truck...oh and does anyone have pictures of this amount of drop on their 96-98 civic?? thanks
just go with coilovers then. and you can adjust the height the way you want it. i believe eibach has springs that lower it 1.5

You do realize that your suspension has sagged over time, a 1.3 inch drop is going to be about the same height it's at, you're not going to be satisified.
Get eBay coil-overs, they're like $50 shipped.

how many inches of a drop would you recommend then?? or what would give me a two finger gap space...if you say my stock suspensions sag?? or what would be a OK and cheap set of coilovers other than shitty ebay ones??thanks
I've had two friends using eBay coil over sleeves without any problems, they work with the stock struts, well, until the stock struts wear out.
2 1/2" drop should give you that two finger gap you want, i don't know if they're any springs that offer that amount though.

what about for 17 inch rims?? right now i got a 4 finger gap which is about 2 5/8"...and now that someone tells me my suspension could be saggin makes me wonder and trip even more...
...how much of a gap does 1.9/1.7" give you on a 96-98 civic dx/lx/ex?? and is there a way to tell if your stock suspension is sagging?? oh and with the ebay coilovers, i heard they give a lousy ride though...

Ride isn't that bad, suspension sags over time, there's no way around it, your suspension is sagged.
No one i know has been satisified buying lowering springs, they end up buying coil-overs after wasting their money on springs.

ebay coilovers?? No...
Its your suspension...the most important part.
Buy things with a warranty and from a company that is at least half-way decent.
I had coilovers...sold them for springs. 100% happy and saved money.
Look at Tein H-tech for a slight drop and good quality spring. They are warrantied against sagging for a time and will never sag to the point that no-namers probably will (or apc...)

Ive seen numerous threads on here (old ones) of people that bought ebay springs/coilovers where they sagged VERY far within less than 1yrs time
Maybe theres a reason why theyre so cheap...
I guarantee my h&r springs are 100x the quality as your ebay coils
