Default AC in GSR civic

Here in New Orleans it is hot as all hell. In order to put ac back in my coupe i kno i need the del sol or crv bracket. I was wondering with ac on i know you lose a decent amount of hp, but if its off how much do you lose on average if any. Do not want to get too much slower =P Thanx

try using search.

but to be nice: you'll lose like 2 or 3 hp. mainly, you're gonna be adding alot of weight, and that WILL slow you down.

Only about 60lbs (1/2 the weight of a JDM model ) but wheneve you feel like getting on the throttle just turn the A/C compressor button "off" on your dash. As long as you aren't riding in VTEC every secong in your car the A/C won't affect you much other than a few MPG less in you gas mileage.

dont listen to this guy. the main loss of hp is not weight it is powering the unit. and that will run you about 10hp leave it out, drive faster and the wind will cool you down
