Is this all I need to tell the year (if its obd2a or obd2b)? I just want to verify its the right ECU as what I was told when I bought it.

Thanks, I just want to let the buyer know exactly what year it is from, and if it is auto/manual.

I bought it off a guy who converted to a P28, and he says its a 96-98 5 Spd ECU. Can anyone verify?

the P2P-A33 was used on the 96-97 EX coupe and the 97 EX sedan, manual trans.

so it's OBD2a.

note: the P2P-A33 replaced the P2P-A31 for some reason. (actually there was a P2P-A32 also, but it was not used)

Thanks buddy I was afraid everyone was going to tell me it was a D16y8 ECU or tell me where a P2P came from. I knew that much, I just needed to know which P2P it is. Thanks
