where does map sensor vacuum line go to 99 civic si?
map sensor on 99-00 si sits on throttle body. map sensor has a nimple for vacuum. i have it going into a vacuum manifold. from the vacuum manifold, it goes to the brake booster. ive been trying to solve the misfire problem since i swapped in my new b16a2 block, and finally realized that the map sensor vacuum shouldnt go there.
i dont think the the map sensor vacuum goes to the evap or canister, because, according to helms, the evap vacuum hose already goes to the the canister.
anyone with a 99-00 si wanna pop open there hood and tell me where it goes

WTF are you talking about? If its on the throttle body, there should be no place for a vaccum line to go! It gets it by being bolted to the throttle body. Either way, vaccum is vaccum and it shouldn't matter as long as its a good source. Take a pic or something dude.
PM me when you get a pic up of your ****.

your right. it shouldnt need a nimple if its on the TB. i noticed that is actually the map sensor spacer nimple that came with the jr map controller i once had. damn, i had that still on too when i was experienceing bogging with my dyno tuning session when i had the jrsc on.

Description: I paypal'd Bong Lee the money for the passenger side fender. As you can see in the thread above, the fender is in good condition. When I pulled up into my driveway I saw the package and I could already tell it was going to be screwed up. I took pictures before I even opened it for proof. Here is what I received:
I gave him 24 hours to at least contact me, and so far nothing. His email on honda-tech is invalid and I had to use his paypal email. He sells alot of stuff on here and I have a good feeling that this wont get resolved. I just dont understand why he had to ruin a sale because he couldnt package it well enough. Thanks Bong

(6:53 PM 8/22/2005) 2manycars2choose: Hey,
Received the fender today, it doesnt looked good. It all dented and scratched. You certainly didn't package it well. I am going to attach pictures of how it was received. I see that you have insurance along with it so you should have no problem with me returning the fender and you returning my money via pay-pal.
Here is a link to the pictures of the fender:

Here is how you can claim the insurance:

If I dont hear from you within 24 hours, I plan to contact my credit card company to stop the payment. Thank you in helping resolve this.

(10:44 AM 8/25/2005) spidermancivic: ive sent engine blocks, fenders, rims, hoods, and many other things through usps priority and they never got damage before. im sorry about the fender, but, there was no insurance coverage bought for it through usps. it would of been a simple $2.20 extra.

i also taped a piece of white paper on it that stated it was FRAGILE as I do with most fragile things that i ship. im not trying to rip you off, as, i have sold many things here on HT and Clubsi and never experienced any problems. heres my selling history.

and im pretty sure you already have my selling history for HT. in the end, its not my fault that USPS jacked up the shipping. if there was no insurance for it, then, theres nothing i can do about it. just like any other transaction that occurs with shipping, via it be phone, ebay, internet, etc, if you dont buy insurance, that is the risk the buyer takes. im sorry, id be pissed off too, but i really cant do anything about it. if there was insurance bought for it, i would have refunded you the money back minus the cost of shipping and took the claim out with USPS. that way no one loses anything besides shipping cost. i cant just give you a refund, because, i would lose out on the other end. if i was the buyer, i would have purchased insurance just like i do with all other things shipped. its a little price to pay for disputes like this.
if you dont understand any of this, call your local usps location or give me a call at (951)347-9108 and ask for anthony.
please stop calling me a shady seller, i know your mad, but, its not my fault.
