Default Steering wheel shakes at low speeds 00 civic

ok heres the story. i dropped my car and threw on some rims and tires at the same time. i didnt get an alignment (im an idiot yes i know) and so the inside of my tires started balding. well today one goes flat so i throw on my stock wheels.

i just took it out for a spin around the block and the wheel shakes ALOT. i took it back in and tightend up the lug nuts one more time and it still shakes. alignment? rebalance my wheels? if so how much is it to rebalance them? any help appreciated thanks!

edit:i didnt go over 20mph because i was in my neighborhood but im guessing it would get more worse as i go faster?

hmmm ok but the thing is that im waiting for some money to come in to get another set of avs es100s for my rims. that will take about a month. i know some places offer lifetime warranty on their alignments so would that be the best thing to do?

check if you lost one of those balancing weights on the stock rims, up front probably.

if you can get the balance checked first, that'd be a good idea. should cost 5 to 10 bucks a wheel to balance.

and if you keep driving it like this, you'll need an alignment for sure. at this point, an alignment is good preventive maintenance- and you have uneven wear on those tires.

ok can we establish the fact that it IS the alignment that caused my tires to wear like that? or is it neg camber? i want to know before i buy the tires so that if needed, i will buy a camber kit before buying the tires. thanks guys.

depending on how long and how the tires were stored you might have sme flat spots. it coiuls be a balance issiue or possibly a wheel bearing issue. Also an alighnment will have nothing to do with the shake, only how the tire wears.
