Tread life on Potenza S03
on my brothers 350 hp (@crank) mits eclipse front wheel drive, he went through them in 8k miles
that is a fast tire though.
you can get the falkens which last about as long and dont cost nearly as much
do a search to find comparisons to the falkens. everybody realy likes the falkens

If bridgestone's web site is correct in saying S03s start with 10/32ths (didn't check), then I've used up 5/32 in about 6k miles. So about 12k miles by my estimates.
This is with relatively mild driving around town, 2 open track events, and numerous autoxes.
Generally, people say that treadwear ratings should only be compared between tires of the same company. You're supposed to be able to compare treadwear by their ratios.
From tirerack,
a tire grade of 150 wears 1.5 times as long as a tire graded 100.

I haven't tried the Azenis yet, but I suspect they're better in the dry and (much?)worse in the rain.
