im running a gsr cluster into my ek w/ 96gsr motor. but everytime the rpm is at 6,000 the tach would drop back down.

It could have a bad ground or the signal wire may not have a good connection.

 

i tried using another ground wire but still no effect. also i made sure the tach sig is good by using the civic cluster and it worked fine.

i tested my gsr cluster into my frends teg and it doesnt do that, so im 100% sure the gsr cluster is working well

 

no there is a spot for the light to screw into and if that is not tight some times the lights will go out. or event if it is tight if you give it a tap some times it will come back on.
