the ITR will fit, but you need a different final drive and stuff. The easiest way is to just buy a quaife

If i just buy the 4.7final drive kit for $300, will it just go right in and replace my LS final drive?

Or buy a quaife which is about $900+ ??

After you buy everything that is needed (ITR final drive parts) you will be looking to spend close just a few hundred less than a quaife....I think it was like $600 or so when I price it out. You can get a quaife for $864. Soooo since the quaife is well known and proven for high whp applications I would feel alot more comfortable using that. Yes the ITR will work, but it was only designed for a 200hp-ish car. Quaife are really not that expensive once you factor in the extra's that you need to make the ITR LSD work.

The ITR final drive is 4.400 unless you're talking about the JDM ITR, which is 4.785. As said before, you will need the final drive ring gear, AS WELL AS a countershaft from a 4.400 tranny. Then you can slide your LS gears onto that. When you put everything back, you may or may not have to swap out a few bearings to make sure everything goes back together snug.

USDM ITR LSD won't mate with the 4.785 final drive set.

Did you think about the OBX LSD? Supposedly the same as the Quaiffe, also has a lifetime warranty.
