What kind of car would you buy with 25 grand cash?
I was just wondering cause i might be getting that from a business i am selling and am thinking about getting an RSX but i would like to know what some of you would do with that?
i'm buying a new car too, and looking for a car in the 20,000 to 25,000 too. i was thinking about getting a rsx but been hearing a lot of bad things like 2nd gear grinds in type-s and some ecu problems and blowing there motors. this was the main car i was looking to buy but not now i'm waiting too see if the 2003 models will have all the bugs worked out. i might just buy the ugly 2002 si ???????????
Honestly, there is not a single new car on the market in the $25,000 range that I would buy.
I mean, I'd love to have a Miata or maybe a WRX, but just try stuffing a Marshall half-stack, three guitars and your girlfriend in one.
I can only think of one car being sold in the U.S. today in any price range that I actually do want.

well i was thinking about getting something used like an rx7 but that WILL break and be expensive to fix, and a Supra is good but a bunch of my friends own them already plus i wanted a new car that i wont have to worry on breaking down when i go on a road trip cross country.
Hey halyoder, there's no bugs in the rsx type-s, the shifting is just tight. Its what people wanted in the next "integra," so when they shift from 3 to 4, while redlining, they miss shift and grind the second gear, or I have heard some from 5 to 2 (ouch), and sometimes they are cruising at six, some guy drops the ball on him, and he wants to go down to 4, only to hit 2. I haven't heard any ecu problems, only shifting problems (thats driver skill problem)- I want and rsx type-s myself
Yeah, all my stuff fits just fine in my Integra (including the girl
), just not in the only new cars I like that I can afford.

My 2 cents worth: get an RSX-type S. What other car comes as refined, sporty with sports car like performance, and practical? And its an Acura. Did I mention it's an Acura? And how about all the aftermarket potential? Only other cars I would even consider is the new Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution V, Subaru WRX turbo, and if you can swing it, a pre-owned Acura NSX (maybe a 1991-1993).
well the 2 cars i would say are good would be a rsx-s or a wrx. i love my rsx-s and its sweet. its gettin faster each day. im goin all jdm, from performance to looks, but id rather do performance. or u can get a wrx. my friend in my racing crew has a wrx thats runin a 12.9 on the stock turbo and street tires. i run a 15.3 with only a intake, i havent ran them with my jdm rims yet, gona do it this wed. but if u can get a rsx-s or a wrx. but then again the type R is a pretty sweet car too. my brother has one and its a sweet car, but i love my rsx-s =] well good luck bro.
put 15 down... on a rsx of course... get: rims&tires, the greddy turbo setup(when it comes out), tein 16 way adjustable coilovers, and aem piggy back computer ;]
When my Teg is paid off in december of this year. My next car will be a 00/01 Integra Type R or a STi WRX. I love the previous generation ITR's. There is no other car like it in the states. But the STi WRX is going to be hella-fast. Very, very hard decision. But I have a year to think about it.
