Tranny rebuild
I am doing a full rebuild on my S1 tranny. I need to find a complete gasket set as well as some bearings and the oil diffuser, and do not want to spend what Honda will want.
Also, I have a YS1 in parts in my garage. The 2 trannies have all the same gearing except for 1st 3.307 (ys1) 3.230 (s1) and 5th, .880 (ys1) .848 (s1). Is there are reason to swap out the S1 gears in either or both cases for the Ys1?
I might as well just throw this in here as well....Anyone got a used quaife for sale? I don't have that kinda $$$ for a new one right now and don't wanna gamble with a cable B series OBX...
