Eibach SPORTLINES or PROKIT?
Topic says it all. Before I go and buy it on ebay, i just wanna get some answer from the experienced accord owners here. Im planning on putting it on my 97 accord with 17''s on it. Im just wondering how bad is the sportlines lowered? how bad is the prokit lowered? Im going to be sticking to stock shocks for another 6 months before i buy new ones. i just want my car to have a more aggressive, lowered look to it. Sportlines are low, but will it interfere with the rear knuckles on the 97 accords? Prokits are little more raised, but is it better than stock look? THANKS!!!
my 95 on sportlines + koni reds, 17" rs limited wheels.

i dont own that accord anymore, but if i were to do it all over again i'd go prokit. still looks nice and classy. after owning that accord and my current prelude (and other accord, which im undoing the guy i just bought it froms lowering mistakes, its slammed).. all of which being lowered, i must say you have to draw the line somewhere. Ive seen prokit accords look great, id say after they settled or even if you have perch adjustable on your strut, they're the way to go. just my opinion.

I'd go with the Pro Kit,I have Sportlines on my 94 LX sedan with 17" Racing Harts C2's and the front camber wear is really bad.Plus the ride isn't all that great with the Sportlines,I just replaced some broken exhaust manifold studs due to the exhaust pipe banging on practically everything.Plus the rear springs are noisy,I had
Sportlines on my 91 Civic hatch and they were noisy too, although tire wear wasnt a problem on that car.

yea, sportlines are noisy over bumps, and they have a harsher ride -but thats because they have bigger spring rates which means when tuned right with adjustable shocks, they make a huge handeling difference
I have sportlines on stock shocks and i have no complaints. Yeh they make a little noise on speedbumps but not if you hit them at the right speed. Plus, i always have my radio on anyways so i cant hear them. Not too stiff a ride either. Rides nice for me.
I have sportlines and agxs on my 96ex/h22. I LOVE it! I have 17s, and there is hardly any wheel gap, and it doesn't scrape anywhere, unless you are a tool and run into a steep driveway straight on. It rides suprisingly well, I had heard the horror stories of the sportlines, but I love 'em. Also, I'm not trying to jump in with an ad, but I have a few extra sets of brand new sportlines for 94 - 97 accords for $150 OBO. LMK
i was gonna get a prokit for my accord with 18" cuz rite now it looks like a 4x4... is it true that the prokit works on factory shocks? i dont want them to blow and bounce around the streets...
I have pro kits now and when I get a chance I'm installing sportlines. The difference in sportlines and prokits may only be a 1/2 inch but to me the prokits look high. The ride is as good as stock and I'm on KYB Gr2's. I want to do a little lower. I had 18's and with the pro kits it looked good. I now have 17's and prokits and I would like it to be lower. It's all in the way you see it. I hope that the sportlines ride as good as the pro kits. Pics of my car can be seen here:
