Default ES bushing squeaks

i've installed a set of energy suspension bushings in the front end of my acura EL, and they squeek over most bumps. i probably didnt put enough grease on, but I've read that you can over tighten them and that will cause squeeks as well.

since its a pain in the *** to get the suspension all apart, what should i try to fix this problem other than just take them out and re-grease them? is there a better \ different grease i can buy to put on them.

I bought the master set of bushings, so i did everything in the front suspension that the kit comes with except for the sway bar and steering bushings, and i have yet to do the rear end bushings.

thx!

You get the black ones or the red ones? The black ones have graphite in them, they should squeek less. Anyway put more greese on them, They may never be quiet. But all in all you changed some thing from stock and now you have to live with it. I am geting tired of every one wanting to drive a race car and have it act like a caddy.

how was the performance difference? I have some on my truck and I didn't grease them that much, but they don't squeek...

well ohjolt2, in response, im using the black bushings, and i replaced them because i figured it would be a good time to do so when i do the rest of my suspension. I was told my bushings were probably worn (they already squeeked, although less than they do now), your probably right that i may have to live with the squeeks (from what i've read about other people having this problem), but i will still feel better knowing that i've at least tried to find out why mine squeek and other people dont have that problem!

and to 808_si, i hate to think that its all in my head, and of course that could be true, but i think the car feels more solid and connects with the road better. BUT, i also put new tokico illumina shocks in at the same time, so im sure that probably palyed a larger role in the way the car "feels"

appriceate the input folks
