Why dont you want a motor swap? you can still be sleeper with a swap. DO intake header and a cam. ANy thing under the hood that people cant see are your choices.

DONT do anythign to the interior, or exterior...

if you want to realy be sleeper....get some clear tails lights andshit...

my friend has a 90 civic hatch with aR in it...hes got clear tails, and some pepboys rims...hes got like 4 stickers on each window and shti...

some ******* morons in stock 00' civic si's roll up on him hoping to show off for their girlfriend in the passenger seat and ****...

he lets the dude get him off the line by about 10-15 feet...then kicks the gas...blows past him in 1st gear...3 car legnths by the end of 2nd...

Not much. That is, if we have the same idea of what 'fast' is.

a real sleeper does not have ANY exterior mods.

100% stock outward appearance = no clear tail lights, no wings, no body kits

engine swap to b16 or b18

btw: street racing = misused talent

thats alot of money to resleeve n bore out the engine with high comp pistons and to get the head prot n polished. its alot of work to because i would have to completely tear downmy engine to just the block and have it sent in to be done which means no car for a while, which i cant do.

Actually...I'm more suspicious of a stock clean CRX then a crappy rice box.

off topic.....what the hell does talent have to do with redlining the hell out of my car that i worked so hard for to make fast. what is the point of making the car fast so you can back down like a bitch when somebody wants to test your ride. as long as there are cars there will be street racing, ill bet they used to race horse drawn carts in the streets when there were no cars.
i can see driving with respect for others and in a relatively safe fashion, but ill be god damned if im not going to gas it up if there's some domestic sitting next to me at a deserted interesection on a four lane highway, and after i rip that car i dont feel the least bit bad about all my wasted talent.

I had a SOHC ZC and swapped my engine to a B16a, I don't regrit it, much faster. But with a SOHC ZC your car might look like a sleeper but won't be very fast unless you swap the motor or turbo it

remind me never to spend much time in Jersey.
do you think ANYONE really *thinks* they're gonna demolish their car during a race, possibly killing themselves and innocent bystanders?? how about inviting the guy to the track that weekend?

^ well said.

people who think like that are the reasons why cops harass most of us. the reason why insurance is the rediculous way it is for us young drivers...

think what you want about backing down..**** id back down so i can continue to keep the car i worked so hard for. but go a head and race your ****. cause when you wreck it, thats just more spare parts for us

knock on wood, ive never crashed into yours or anyone elses car in ten years of driving so how do i influence your insurance? sounds like street racing is responsible for a lot of your problems, my whole point is that you make the decision at that specific time if its safe or not, i think you're under the false impression that driving a car is always safe unless your racing, you can't start telling everyone "your the reason my insurance is so expensive" cause then you sound like your from pennsylvania. what are you saying? you want me to wreck my car, you probably dont need any of my parts anyway they're for going fast.
