95 Accord LX transformation project
ok so i have a 95 accord lx. Im planing on pretty much making a nex car. im going for a whole new color paint job body kit new engine brake's etc. This car is completely stock. Its an auto right now but i want to turn it into a 5spd. i dont have the money to all at one time. i want to just start with the simple stuff right now. also i was thinking about just taking a couple of automotive classes because i dont kno jack about engines or cars. This project may take me a couple of years. do u guys recomend me just having a shop do the work for me or take my time and actually take some classes. classes r free theres this one program, its like job training and they show u all kinds of stuff im gonna call 2morrow. Can i get any feedback? Maybe there r books that u guys can recomend or something,
Thanks
Thanks

hey if the classes are free id say take them if your serious and have the time.. but dont take them and waste the instructors time if your not... as far as all the work goes.. i belive with those classes they alow you to work on your car in them and they let you use there tools.. im not positive if thats how the classes your looking into run, but ive seen some like that. while your in the class you can always ask for help with working on it..
i think the first thing you should do is work on the manual conversion.. but that stiill might have to wait until you actaully learn about cars... maybe you should look into an engine swap for now and get an h22.. then later you can convert you from auto to manual.. or just do it all at the same time
