Ok, this is completely for cosmetic reasons, but if I were going to swap the valve cover off an F23A, would the F22(a,b,c,d,e...whichever) VTEC valve cover be a direct replacement?

 

Bumpity.... Anyone? Simple question... so i thought..

 

Seems logical... B series covers are interchangeable, so seems to me that F series should be, too...

 

ok then, which cover? Some are VTEC and others are non-VTEC. Could some one elaborate on this?

 

Nope the F22 VTEC valve cover wont fit a non VTEC F22 head.

 

Ok... now let's try this again... as the title states, F23A1 Valve cover swap. Say I wanted to swap on a new valve cover to an F23A, if an F22 VTEC cover were the only thing available, would it fit, and which model F22 would be the correct one?

 

It must be the F22b1 cover which is the VTEC one. The non vtec engines have the spark plugs going in on the back side so it wont fit the F23. I would say look into the Acura CL ones. They say 2.3LVtec on them and look better than ours, at least I think they do.
