-i was thinking about doing a 99-00 climate control in my 96 civic hatchback and was wondering if anyone around the area in San Diego or La would be willing to help me out. Ive read thousans of articals saying its not worht it and thousands of articlas saying it works fine... in any event. i was just wondering if anyone has done it and is willing to help out thanks
I just did the conversion last night and it took a whole lot of time.. is it worth it? hmmm it depends if you got the time and patience to remove your dash out... honestly i wouldnt do it again cuz it was pretty frustrating.. everything works but my rear defroster.. also you need the water valve for the heater core (located in near the firewall in the engine bay).. it took close to 10 hours.. make sure you have the heater core and blower from 99-00 and the small harness... and the wire that connects the heater core to the water valve... youll need to cut your vent and small clips in your dash... for the climate control to fit.. i recommend getting the 99-00 vents... it looks nice @ the end... but it takes a lot work.. Good luck.. im gonna check the wiring diagram for the rear defroster and ill let you know how to plug it up..
