regardless of what you want, use hmotorsonline.com

you wont get bs'd by them. there are cheaper places, and you might be a lucky one and get a good motor, but those guys are straight up.

also, go for the b18c, higher displacement and longer gears are good for a turbo. you're not gonna keep the short ram intake when you swap [ well maybe the cone filter, but not the piping ], and the 3" exhaust is good enough, if not a bit excessive. 2.5" to 3" is generally right for a turbo exhaust system.

the b16 has a better rod length to stroke ratio in terms of max rpm. it likes to rev, which suits it better for n/a. not saying you cant or shouldn't turbo a b16, but the motor doesnt lend itself as well. also, because the b18 is .2 liters larger, the b18 will be making more torque n/a or boosted. the b16 tranny is shorter ratio, so it'll accel quicker- if you can handle it. since you're going for boost, your torque levels will be at a point where you'll only have wheelspin. if you can manage it, the b16 tranny is great. but wheelspin tends to be the reason why boostheads lean toward the gsr tranny.
