engine - ~70,000-80,000
Engine put in on 6/19/03 and there was 160,896 on the odo, engine bought from Shinwa International in Hayward, and they normally have like 30-40,000. Engine installed by a mechanic specializing in honda/acura, replaced... water pump. timing belt. rear main seal. cam seal. crank seal. battery...etc to bring it to stock condition, and a more aggresive clutch was installed, unknown brand. Recently replaced a lot of stuff due to electrical conditon... will get more details later. Also has no name muffler which is a little loud. The brake rotors need to be resurfaced or replaced as there is a little shaking on hard braking, a minor fix.

Update 1:
Installed new ignitor and alternator 3/25/05 by a mechanic in chico, have paperwork on this also.

Got into a minor fender bender recently, need a new headlight for sure, bumper, fender, hood is a little bent (see pics) but i think it can be bent back.

Car runs really good and hasn't given him much problems. Interior is in pretty good condition, with typical bolster wear on the driver side. Has a sony, i think, mp3/cd player and pioneer 6x9s, nothing fancy but works.

Car overall is in pretty good shape and in probably a 7.5/10. I would buy this from my roomate if i had the $$ but i don't, and i don't need another hatch. Would make a great daily driver or a nice platform for a nice build. Overview of known conditions:
BAD-
Brake rotors need attention
Needs new headlight, fender, front bumper (crying out for a jdm front end)
Crack in front windshield
Wear on driver seat bolster

GOOD-
Clean body as far as the roof, doors, quarters, and rear
Paint in very good condition
No known rust, Cali cars don't have rust
Newer engine replaced June 2003
Never driven like you crazy kids drive, Used as daily driver only, never raced.
Paperwork on all work done for the time he has owned it
CLEAN TITLE
