Default Maintance/ Upkeep Cost

Hello, Ive been looking into buying a 94 Accord lx/ex and I was hoping to find out what to look forward to cost wise when something gets worn out or broken.

Unit Cost and/or Installed
Fuel Pump
Water Pump
Head Gasket
Timing Chain/Belt
Brakes front/rear
Clutch
Sensors, EGR, Solenoids,ect...
Suspension Parts
and anything else I may have forgoten.

BTW is there anything special I should pay special attention to when test driving or looking over a 5 speed Accord?

Thank You for Your Patience

Water pump and timing belt go together. Check the bottom of the timing belt cover for oil leakage, if so then the seals are leaking. Also check the oil pan gasket and the power steering rack if possible. Check for any fluid on the bottom of engine.

Suspension: look at all your ball joints if the boots are broke then you may run into unfun driveability in the future. Also check for wetness on the struts.
You can usually do this by turning the wheels one side to the other to gain access.
Take a flashlight with you.

Check fluids and ask about regular oil changes and other maintenance already done to it.
As far as costs you could call your local H dealer or a mechanic in your area if you know a good one for prices as prices will vary depending on location.

Good Luck

Headgasket should last life of engine if you do not overheat it
Fuel pump should last 180k+ if you do not go below 1/4 tank all the time
suspension should last 150K+ but if the roads are crappy they will wear out faster

Thank You too

I have done quite abit of research on the Accord and Hondas in general and for what I need it for (daily driver) an Accord seems like it would be a good choice.
